Following studies at the Universities of Geneva and Zurich, Hans-Ulrich Ming obtained his law degree in 1968.

He completed his traineeship both in Court and in a Swiss-German law firm. After his admission to the Bar, he worked in the succession department of a major Swiss bank, a professional environment which put him in daily contact with the commercial world on both a national and an international level. Having worked as an associate of the firm as of 1971, he became a partner in 1972.

Practice areas

Hans-Ulrich Ming practices in different areas of civil, commercial, banking and business law, in particular succession law, including estate planning on an international level.

Because of his bilingual training, he has defended several matters before the courts and administrations of Cantons on both sides of the Sarine. His foreign clients may also rely upon his considerable experience regarding the acquisition of real estate property situated in Switzerland.

In view of the importance of tourism in Switzerland, Hans-Ulrich Ming has also developed a special interest in all questions relating to the hotel industry; he advises international hotel chains and assists them in setting up in Switzerland.
